  • Important Community Announcement Regarding November Elections

    Posted: Thu, 08/21/2008
This November, in addition to the presidential and senate election, registered voters in Passaic will choose a Mayor and one of seven Council Members on the City Council. This is a highly significant election. It will have a lasting impact on our quality of lives and the taxes we pay. If you have not yet registered to vote, or if you have recently changed your address within the community, please do so as soon as possible. Voter Registration Applications (for Passaic County Residents) are available here: http://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/form_pdf/co-vrf-forms/passaic.co.voter-form-071008.pdf Or feel free to reply to this message () and we can email or postal mail it to you. Any child who has recently turned 18 should also be registered to vote. Completing the registration form will take less than three minutes; it will have a vital impact on issues confronting the community. Just a few years ago, one candidate lost his election by only 11 votes. Your vote could be the one to make the difference on behalf of issues vital to your friends, neighbors and the community. The ability to affect government locally and statewide is the direct result of voting. The success of our political leaders is the result of the community’s commitment to vote.
